ERISA
The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) of 1974 is federal legislation that regulates the establishment and management of corporate retirement plans. ERISA requires that retirement plan sponsors adhere to rigorous guidelines. Your obligations are known as the retirement plan sponsors “fiduciary responsibilities.”
Some key components to help measure the success of a retirement plan include participant outcomes and retirement readiness. This can be addressed through five key factors:

- Cost/Fee Management – identifying reasonableness of plan fees
- Assist with Plan Design – utilizing selected features that seek to enhance your retirement plan
- Participant Education & Advice – changing participant behavior
